This is a unique artwork, entirely handmade in Carrara marble,
it is part of the artist's philosophy as the main symbol, an element that creates a contact between the earthly and the otherworldly, between earth and space. It is part of the dear “Feather's Philosophy” to the artist and represents: transparency and technical virtuosity which brings the material to a high plastic stress, are inherited from the masters typical of the old continent. The feather, symbol of our time, tacit and silent announces the fragility of our state, it is the mirror of an evolved and fragile human personality. Emulacrum, of the 'Carpe Diem', a surrealist symbol that communicates the condition of today's man, sums up the importance of the concept of 'time which conditions every factor of our life and our destiny. A light, elegant form, sometimes with Baroque forms that reveal the influence that the artist had in his stays in southern Italy and in Venice. Archetype of in-depth studies on the state of existence, which are the basis of his production, and which only a few are allowed to know. This time represented floating, in the void  in a glass frame that highlights its lightness.

Lightness

The air and the atmosphere become part of the artwork and give lightness to the marble. The feather is a recurrent symbol with different meanings: lightness, purity, angels, birds, flight, personality, freedom, autonomy, independence. When a feather leaves a body, a new life begins with its own personality.
